A lawyer by training, Jan Scholes specialized at Heller Ehrman LLP in international and partnership taxation. At Babcock & Brown, she was general counsel and responsible for all legal obligations of the company. Additionally, she worked on many deals between the company and its partners, most of which were international in flavor. Since then she has invested money on her own behalf in companies in which she is interested.
