Session: Regional GIS Datasets & Metadata and ArcGIS 9.2 & Google Earth

This session has two purposes. In fthe first place it will introduce that latest regional GIS datasets developed by NASA and other remote sensing efforts.  The session will also give attention to the development of metadata and how view and analyze data using ArcGIS. The ultimate aim is to give the audience access to the these datasets with a rudimentary knowledge of how to display and analyze.

Session: Database and Archival Techniques

Organisation: Eric C. Kansa, Katie Lindstrom & MSU PHD Students

The past year, MS Baroda has put a large amount of effort to creating digital archives. An overview of this project along with new techniques for displaying this data over the web will be explored. Audience will be given hands on experience with web database archival techniques.

Session: 3D Modeling over the Web and displaying GPS datasets in Google Earth and Sketchup
