Global
Heritage Fund (GHF) is a non-profit international conservancy which protects and
preserves humankind's most important cultural heritage sites in developing countries.
Our timely investments, global network of experts and advanced Preservation
by Design methodology work together to create a 'cycle of success' for Global
Heritage sites which have a high potential for sustainable preservation, tourism
and economic development.
Global Heritage sites
are major archaeological sites and ancient townscapes selected by the GHF Advisory
Board, based on thorough due diligence and close working relationships with on-site
conservation teams and international experts in conservation science. To date,
we have made investments in eight Global
Heritage Projects for planning, conservation and training, and our goal
is to continue to invest at critical junctures to save Global Heritage sites threatened
by neglect, destruction, mass tourism, and unplanned urban sprawl.
Supported by our Trustees
